A high-ranking delegation from Chines Academy of Science visited UCAN and established a joint Lab

On June 15,1403, a high-level delegation from the Gansu Science and Technology Development Promotion Center, China, visited UCAN to initiate scientific cooperation under the "Belt and Road" science and technology innovation action plan. During this visit, various areas of mutual cooperation were discussed in a meeting. The meeting was also attended by Dr. Mojtaba Abdollahi, the Governor of Alborz Province, as well as representatives from important organizations such as Natural Resources Organization and the Environment Protection Organization of Alborz province.

Furthermore, a trilateral memorandum of understanding was signed during the meeting among UCAN, Gansu Academy of Sciences in China, and Alborz Provincial Governorship focusing on efforts to combat desertification.

In addition, a joint Lab between Chinese side and UCAN was established in university campus.
