University of Tehran Faculty Member Participates in EWRS International Webinar

The European Weed Research Society (EWRS), recognized as one of the most authoritative scientific organizations in the field of weed science, has launched a series of specialized webinars for 2026 under the theme “Question-Driven Weed Science.” 

Accordingly, the first webinar of this series was held on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, featuring a scientific presentation by Dr. Mostafa Oveisi, a faculty member of the Department of Agronomy, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Tehran, alongside Professor Heinz Müller-Schaerer from the University of Fribourg, Switzerland, and Professor Ahmet Uludag from Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Turkey. The webinar was attended by 60 participants from various countries, representing a wide geographical distribution. It provided a valuable platform for the exchange of recent scientific and research advances in weed science and attracted considerable interest from researchers, faculty members, and specialists in the field.
